This was a good statistics program to get into. I learned about statistical theory and other elements of that field as well as Java programming. The most difficult part was the need to invest time to complete the program.

Pros

University setting. Academic in nature. Good for a career professional. Focus on compliance. Not a certificate mill for brokers. Studied for passing state real estate license.

3.0

Pros

Flexible class hours, Good teachers

Cons

Expensive and the 4th year is the most costly.

Other comments

Very selective to get in. The first courses are a soft-sell, then things ratchet up in year 2. There are a lot of pertinent courses that are not taught particularly well and some pointless courses that are taught very well. Overall, half the curriculum could be done away with with no major impact on how you turn out as a pharmacist.

The program was very hands on,I was able to benefit from a medium size classroom most of my academic career, and also through internships and public speaking forums.

This was on site training contracted with the University of Minnesota. We had group training followed up with workbook and other materials. Everyone took the exam, but not everyone by far passed. I spent many hours studying. This is not an easy exam but I know what ITIL is about. Knowledge is directly applicable to IT management tasks.

Pros

Good career preparation

Cons

More paperwork than many expect.

Other comments

Take advantage of internship to learn what and how and when to work with clients and paperwork. Internship is more important than book learning often.
