Great combination of hands on training with a lot of collaborative work with peers. A lot of reading and writing required, as well. At the end of the program you walked away with real experience and projects to share with potential employers.

The MLS program at UW will teach you everything you need to know to be a certified tech and to pass the ASCP board exam. Definitely recommend going through this program if you love science and want to do meaningful work in the medical field.

The course was not wholly comprehensive. With that, it did not delve into back end development.

The course covered basics of Web development and also covered current industry expectations. We learned modern website structure using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.

Class would run once a week for 3 hours and you could attend in person or online. Usually there was a lot of homework for the weekend. Some of the material could be repetitive, but overall it enhances your understanding of the area of interest.

An amazing, top-tier university. There are numerous resources available for students, as well as resources from each department. My biggest critique is that the school administration needs to take the input from our Student Senate more seriously. Often times the proposals put forth by students are largely ignored.
