Professors are really understanding and will help out. The teachers actually let up do hand on training. They first trained in classroom then we did clinicals at a long term facility. Hardest part of training is keeping up with all 5 of the classes. And making sure the assignments are turned in on time. A typical day of training depends on the classes you have that day, if it was just a regular in book class you would have lecture and then you can do your homework in class. If it was the CNA class you would wear your scrubs on clinical days and dress normal on lecture days.

I enjoyed doing my clinicals and the hands on training that I received. I loved the facility that I had my clinicals at. I am more of a hands on person when it comes to learning things.

This course is good for those who are tactile learners, as there are plenty of time for hands on learning in the labs that they assign you. It is a fairly enjoyable class and will benefit those who enjoy the engineering field.

Cons

This class had no flexibility in class hours and the instructor had limited knowledge of teaching a high school classroom.

Despite the instructor given, I really enjoyed the course. The skills labs really helped me learn with hands on learning experience. Clinicals also helped me get a foot in the door by showing me what the job of a CNA is truly like.

The teachers were great. All of them were licensed mechanics and had great on job experience and expertise. The course is time consuming especially when working full time as well but well worth it.

“It is worth going to a reputable technical school and earning your degree in Aviation Technology in addition to taking the test required for obtaining an A&P license. Over my many years working in the industry, the people who paid someone to teach them how to take the test for your A&P license were the worst mechanics and employee’s. You need real experience either through military service or technical school with hands on training. I highly recommend South Georgia Technical College in Americus Georgia.”
