I feel attending the Institute allowed me to become more knowledgeable in the duties I performed as Clerk. The five days that I attended along with other Municipal Clerks were filled with classes on subjects such as..... Customer Relations Municipal Law Ethic Training Court Law And many other informational areas.

Take plenty notes during classes, highlight important information, review notes each night and take the necessary courses before testing for certification.

Good combination of attending conferences and online webinars. Lots of information for the City Clerks within the State of Florida. Webinars are taught by individuals of the Florida League of Cities.

Class material was very good. Instructors and speakers were excellent and know their subject matter. As part of the program you will have to get up in front of your peers and give a short speech which can be intimidating but most rewarding in the end.

They gave an excellent hands-on experience with student teaching. I felt my classes were challenging and excellent as well. After receiving my bachelor's degree I would receive my master's degree many years later. There were enough classes given in the evenings and the summers to allow this to happen. I was teaching full-time during the days and earning the latter degree at night. I am grateful for the number of classes available.

Good opportunity to work at your own speed and work fully time. Schedule is very busy but worth it. Course is not hard to follow. Able to get masters degree very quickly.

Good hands on and professors were good. And it's great place for you to broaden your horizons. And to see many cultures all trying to better their future and succeeding in life.
