The teaching was very well and the skills we learned were related to the skills that would used in the workplace setting. The first part of the course consisted of writing resumes, teamwork professional behavior in the workplace setting. The second parts were chemistry for the workplace biological techniques, how to use ppe for the laboratory, sterilization procedures, serial dilution, techniques, ph meters. Some of our training took place at other campuses. We took a trip to the company that we would work for. The most challenging part was being in class and dealing other stresses outside of class. A normal day would start from 8:30 to 11:30 then 12:30 to 3:30. Some days we had chemistry courses all day. Some days we had math for the morning and biology for the evenings. Our classes also consisted of hands-on training for example donning personal protective equipment, ph meter use, laboratory techniques, sterilization techniques. The instructors were very nice and helpful. The class worked together on projects. Representatives from the industry gave insights and lectures about the day to day functions of the company and what to expect after employment. The most difficult part of the training was donning the protective equipment. The most enjoyed part was bonding with other people in the class.
