The team at the location I received my certification is among the top experiences I have had. They are beyond helpful and knowledgeable. They are open to all questions and never hesitate to push the interns and students to learn in a new and exciting environment. The program has good hands on learning, great instructor, nice restaurant setting, and very helpful. Classes are flexible, some provide extra services after school, and the program attends events that helps with the classroom to be better overall.

The cosmetology program is incredibly under funded. The teachers were under paid and didn't seem to care tons about the students. Depending on the location you will either get no clients or be overwhelmed with people.

This was included in my sports medicine training class and it was very helpful and has led me to be able to apply for more jobs. My teacher worked very well with everyone and helped us all learn.

It was an interactive class, that helped clear concepts, and polished the knowledge. The professor was extremely calm, and is ready to solve your doubts for as many times as you request him.

We had 4 days of classroom, started our clinicals the second semester, 8 hour days 6 weeks each. The instructors were tough, but ensured that we learned what we needed to know. The tests were very difficult, always focusing on critical thinking, & with more than one right answer. The best part was the clinicals & hands on.

Examples, reading, pictures to illustrate what's being touched on, online group discussions, supplemental readings (website links), exam at the end of lessons (forget if there were weekly or bi-weekly). Helpful teachers available for any questions you might have. Most enjoyable part is everything is online, no classroom required and the price is very reasonable.

Great teachers with a lot of hands on experience. Getting to know everyone in the class is the most enjoyable part. Learned all about the human body and how it functions. Learned about pathologies and how to treat them utilizing critical thinking skills.

Motivated professors who are excited about the profession and teaching. Excellent local resources for internships/clinicals. Boston is a great city for students, but it is overall very expensive. Have a plan in place ahead of time to pay off loans.

Combination of classroom and hands on experience plus clinical applications in three different settings for 4 weeks (2) and 5 weeks (1). You are able to choose between numerous different clinical sites, so you might be able to stay close to home or get out and travel to other areas.

This had a great set of instructors that were local EMT's, fire fighters, and paramedics. We were taught the basics as per curriculum as well as practical every day uses and real world scenarios paired with Hands on training the hardest part was manipulating the 200 lb (dummy). The most enjoyable part of the training was conversing with the instructors during break time.
