In preparation, I attended weekly online classroom meetings over lunch. These were presented by AATB accredited bodies.I also attended breakout sessions and workshops at the AATB annual conference. This, in conjunction with hours of private study prepared me for the exam. Overall, it was a positive experience and a very rewarding feeling to have achieved the certification.

Good financial support with grants for graduate students. Too much time spent with students in the FNP program. Co-hosting of classes into 2 consecutive days a plus for those coming each week from out of town.

Some instructors use information and slideshows straight from the book in the classroom so it sometimes felt like a waste of a class period.

Good instructors, minimal homework/outside of classroom room in comparison to other programs in a similar field, the field is ever changing considering it is in the IT department.

It was great. I don’t have any reviews, all I know I had a wonderful time. The teachers were very helpful. Still a super friendly and we all got along, we have each other. Everyone was eager to get our license. We all push each other to be successful. We study together and hang out in our leisure time. We were all like one big happy family.

Easily able to do on your own time doing it online especially if you work full time and have a family to take care of. The teachers were always available to contact when you had any questions.

I wished I would have researched the career choice more thoroughly. The career is very stressful compared to the compensation. Taxes and the cost of health insurance plan keeps my wage under poverty level for my family size.

Yes the classroom were small so there was more attention to students needs. We had clinical once a week at school and at different hospitals and nursing homes so there was a lot of hands on learning which I liked because I'm a hands on learner.

I learned a lot but I feel like I could have learned more if there had been better consistency. I've heard new management is fixing things. In the long run I'm glad I went to school there and was able to learn the things that I did learn. Some of the teachers I had were wonderful and others were the opposite. But all in all Connor's nursing program teaches responsibility and accountability, even if they are on the harsh side.

I wished we had more training. A lot of abbreviations are used in the job offers online but you don't know what they stand for. You really take a guess when you sign up for an opening.
