Was a good experience. We started with watching videos on pros and cons about how to drive a commercial vehicle, then got behind an automated virtual driving devise and was like driving a live tractor trailer on a screen.

A day will begin with having our uniform clean and iron. We told that looks was very important for passenger coming into the box. Teachers were experienced and made the training easy to handle.

Lots of hands on learning. Teacher wasn't the best but I was able to pass my cdl test first try three weeks after getting my cdl permit. Then straight to work

It cost me, $250 for 1 session, $100 for road time with the instructor twice which was $200, And $500 to take the test Athene MVA. Everyone was very pleasant and they do all they can to make sure that You pass.

All hands on training. I took out all old appliances in model homes,thru out charlotte and surrounding areas, and replaced them with Electrolux items.. range, fridge,dishwasher, double ovens, all fridge and freezer units.

Good combination of classroom and hands on experience. Instructors are excellent as they are all experienced drivers themselves. Enjoyed meeting the other students.

I have family members who have driven trucks their whole life. They coached me in every day experiences while driving. After researching jobs, I decided to get my CDL on my own. I downloaded a CDL Prep app on my phone and studied until I was confident to go test. I went to Coastal driving school for the driving test, then the DMV to get my license.

Easy to do, teachers are wonderful, good hands on training, a lot of one on one time, and also teaches you how to drive not just pass the test. Definitely worth the time/wait!

Great program and instructors worked well with students to teach them the steps to pretrip and post trip inspections, filling out logbooks and how to properly operate a tractor trailer.

The instructors were very informal and hands on with over 100 years combined experience in construction and heavy equipment operating. They made sure to let all the students know if and when they did something wrong as to not make that same mistake on a job site.

My experience at international school of trucking is one I might forget if I try think. I am there but only because I have to in order get my cdl.

Good environment to work in also give you a little extra if needed. They will work with you to make sure you have all of your paperwork done and complete. They also take time we you learning to move the truck.
