District of Columbia Food Handler Requirements

All food service establishments in the District of Columbia must have a Certified Food Protection Manager present during the hours of operation. To be certified within the District of Columbia, CFPMs must submit an application along with a copy of their certification awarded through a nationally accredited CFPM program.1
