Missouri Food Handler Requirements

Missouri does not have any training or certification requirements for food handlers or food service managers. However, the Missouri food law does require that a person in charge at a food service establishment can demonstrate their competency in safe food handling and the prevention of foodborne illnesses. The state recommends Certified Food Protection Manager training through an organization such as ServSafe, Prometric, StateFoodSafety.com or Learn2Serve.com.1
