They don’t accommodate you in a job yo have to be looking for them in order to have work What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Depends on the client and family What is a typical day like for you at the company? Normal nothing, and also depends on the clients

They take advantage of the employee by charging for over time to clients and they don’t pay for overtime to the caregiver
Home Health Care Worker (Former Employee) - San Diego, CA - October 7, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? If you work for this company , keep track of your hours. They won’t pay overtime when an employee works overnight . In their thinking, the next day starts again. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? They don’t follow CA labor laws.

Rewarding
Caregiver (Former Employee) - Irvine, CA - September 5, 2023
If you enjoy caring for the elderly this is a great job. Pay could be a bit better, and you sometimes go without clients for extended period of time.

Overworked, underpaid!
HCA/Caregiver (Former Employee) - Culver City, CA - July 29, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? A lot has changed since Covid, they work from home now, not as personable as when they used to work in the office when we went to pick up our checks and pop in to speak to our case workers. This company has fallen off drastically! Also, they charge the clients a lot of money per hour, pay you what they want and keep the rest, meanwhile the client is under the presumption that you are getting paid the entire amount! What is the most stressful part about working at the company? You have to haggle for a fair pay and they use the excuse that their manager won't allow it, meanwhile the client already paid $25 or $30/ hr for your services and the money is there, but the less they give you, the more they keep in their pockets! What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Very stressful, they want to send you far away, you ask for more pay for gas and they say no! They just don't care that prices has gone up for everything! It's like they don't care about us working Bees, all they care about is making money for themselves!

Just okay
Caregiver (Current Employee) - Fullerton, CA - July 9, 2023
Very difficult to get in contact with the admin. They never call you back or get back to your emails. Pay is ok, and working with patients is the most rewarding part.

No es un teabajo estable
Caregiver (Current Employee) - Scottsdale Ranch, AZ - June 27, 2023
Ni hay un salario fijo, no hay un raise cada año ,no tienes horas fijas. Como un trabajo de medio tiempo tampoco funciona. Te envian a lugares lejos de tu area y no hay pago extra por gasolina.
Pros
A veces dan bonus
Cons
No hay horas seguras.

In-Home Senior Caregiver (Former Employee) - Vista, CA - May 31, 2023
I enjoy the employees and the friendly faces. I like making customers leave happy. It can be very busy at times but as it’s only my second day I know I will get the hang of it and it will come naturally

Poor Management
Administrative Coordinator (Former Employee) - El Segundo, CA - May 26, 2023
Do yourself a favor and skip applying to work here , there is VERY clear favoritism. Management will leave you to struggle into all hours of the night . There is zero work like balance . There is no “team” efforts it’s everyone for themselves. It’s very money driven and little to no care for employees under management.

Do not ever work here under any circumstances!
Employee (Former Employee) - El Segundo, CA - May 20, 2023
Horrible company to work for! Zero follow through from administration. Highly unprofessional and very poor communication. Company does not ever address employee concerns. Very disorganized communication all around. Rude people handling the phone lines. Divisional managers are clueless on how to timely address concerns. HR and senior management here is a total joke. Very poor leadership and vision. Company is only in it for the money. Highly recommend that you do not work for this company. Zero focus on people. One hundred percent focus on rapid growth and expansion. All around atrocious company to work for. Lots of other truly professional home "care" companies out there. Work for any others except 24 Hour Homecare. Administration here needs a crash course in professionalism and respect. (Instead of constantly ghosting people and ignoring them simply because they are too "busy" to be bothered with practicing basic human decency and civility.) Seriously could not say enough negative things about this so called "caring" company. Work here at your own risk.
Pros
nothing whatsoever
Cons
unprofessional administration, zero follow though, highly disorganized, very poor communication

Great company environment, great people
Talent Acquision (Current Employee) - El Segundo, CA - May 18, 2023
I enjoy working for this company! 24 Hour Home Care is a positive place to work and I feel the work that I do provides a value to a vulnerable population (seniors). Although we are a business, we truly care about those that we serve and this guiding principle helps drive decision making in all that we do.
Pros
company culture, mission
Cons
would love 401k match

Good culture
N/A (Current Employee) - El Segundo, CA - April 20, 2023
The people are what make this company great. There is a true team mentality and people genuinely care about each other. Everyone in the company can recite the company's "why", which is rare and I believe most individuals are truly here to serve a greater purpose.

productive and always something to look forward to at work
Caregiver (Former Employee) - everywhere as needed - April 20, 2023
I love helping people to its always a blessing to make my patients smile and feel good and of course to feel comfortable around me. Any time im with them its always a good time and gentle. In my work place theres always something new I learn, there stories give light to the day and how they feel from the time that I left and come back to them. The hardest part of my former job was to leave my patients, I make them a priority once I start with them. The most enjoyable part of my former job was making them smile and feeling the comfort they have with me, my goal is to make them feel safe in there home even when help is there and help them get better while feeling cared for properly.
Pros
at times new locations, patients, and different energy
Cons
