Pay seems steep but hours are inconsistent. You can go for a month without seeing your client due to cancellations etc. YOU CAN’T SURVIVE ONLY WORKING THIS JOB.

The pay is determined by whether someone comes with a degree, is bilingual, previous experience...etc. Therapists are given part-time hours because the children we work with attend school and we are not able to run session until they are out of school. Some cases do allow staff to have direct hours with the child while they are in school but a majority of our hours come from them being out of school. Being out of school for the summer as well as vacation time or holidays may allow for full time hours.
$15/ hour. less than 20 hours/week
