Great place , not enough hours but I also had another job. The free meal at end of the shift was good and the system was organized . All managers were great and so was fellow employees.

Toxic work environment, the worst customers, poor management

A typical day at work can range from stress-free and you make a lot of money to very hectic, you make very little money, and if there is a conflict whether that be with staff or customers the managerial staff brushes it off or ignores it completely making it a hostile environment 80% of the time. The employees are mainly really cool, there's a mix of high school, college, and middle-aged people.

Short breaks if you're allowed one, managers are HORRIBLE

work environment

Poor management, favoritism.Mostly slow mornings, very stressful nights especially on weekends. Managers definitely pick favorites. Pretty flexible schedule.

Fun work environment, great opportunities.

Fun working environment.Always busy to make good Tips.Management is supportive and professional. Schedules are flexible and covering shifts is easy with so many employees. Oh...and the food is fantastic.

Poor pay but decent working environment

Managers tend to have a negative attitude towards employees. The pay is way too low for the amount of work done (for me and several others, it's well under the minimum wage for the state of Texas). While some of the employees can be friendly not all are.

Pros

One free drink each shift per employee, discounts on meals (25-30% off), occasional free meal cards

Cons

No breaks, no PTO, negative employees and employers, very low income for the amount of work done (less than the minimum wage)

To be clear,Minimum wage in Texas is $7.25.Bussers make tips. and make at least $9 per hour.

It was a fun place to work

It was a fun place to work and some of the staff are really cool and respectful it more of laidback kinda job where you get busy and stat on you toes. It just a fun place for me

Great co-workers, poor management

A typical day at work includes the hostesses giving me a couple tables, I take their orders, put the order into the computer, and wait for the food to come up. I wait on the table and ask if they need anything at all.

A Great Company To Work For!

An amazing place to work with a relaxed atmosphere. Management doesn’t micromanage, while still being productive. Hard work is appreciated and doesn’t go unnoticed.

Loved it at Caboose

Considering it was my very first job and I was ending my sophomore year of high school, I think this really helped my out my junior and now senior because of what I had learned at Caboose. I learned how to strike up conversations with the elderly people that are there I talked to the adults, mothers and fathers and even little kids everyday making me a very sociable person.

Met and became acquainted to a lot of many amazing peopel

Fun workplace, too low pay

Great place to work but the pay was way too low for the amount of work you do. Everybody I worked with was super friendly and enjoyable to be around. Management was great also. If the pay was better I'd still probably be working there. I don't think I ever got more than 38 hours a week there. Also a con.

It was okay

It was just an average job with a terrible server manager. He’s narcissistic and prejudice. All the other mangers however were amazing and really help out when they can.

Started off great

Being a server was great. I enjoyed the people that i worked with. It is a fun place to work. When I moved up is when things started to get interesting.

Fun and Easy

Made sure the game room was cleaned and prepared for the customers. Refilled ticket machines and gave out prizes exchanging tickets. Easy and good job for starters

What a fun place to work

This is such a fun place to work. Not very fulfilling when trying to support two children but I loved my employment there. I did not work there long because I had to find a job with a better income to support my family.

It doesn't pay enough for the work you have to do but its a fun environment. Its a good job for high school students to have for a little money on the side.

Good restraunt to work in

Fun environment to work in for college aged kids. Like a Dave and Busters, many kids running around. Loud atmosphere but great people to work with.

Exciting, fast paced environment fully equipped with non smoking bar, smoking sports bar, and million dollar game room.

I run a locally owned and operated Mexican/American restaurant. The food is made fresh daily, hardly any is frozen prepared. A typical day at work involves making sure guests receive their food as fast and fresh as possible. Communication with the staff regarding product quality, food safety, as well as customer satisfaction. At any point in time I might have to jump into the kitchen and take over a station or coach along a newer employee. Running the wait and helping behind the bar are no strangers to a typical shift. The hardest part of the job would be the constant struggle to improve both myself and the business/coworkers. The most enjoyable aspect of the job would be my coworkers. The environment is lighthearted and friendly.

Cons

Room for advancement, having to settle for subpar performance because of the resources at my disposal.

it was a very fun and entertaining place to work during my years in college. I still have life long friendships from this job.
