I had an interview today. The owner looked at my resume and asked what did you do at your last job? Because I will be working two jobs she asked why do I want to have two jobs? Have you ever been to 7-eleven overnight? Have you ever dealt with a drunk person and had them listen to you? How do you think a drunk person would react if you denied them alcohol? What would you do if your friends came in and asked for a free pizza? What would you do if someone called from 7-eleven and asked you to scan a barcode?
How long does it take to get hired from start to finish at 7-Eleven? What are the steps along the way?
5-10 days. After hiring they gave a test for mathematical skills. Then put you to work starting with training
With seven eleven raises at store level are for the most part a "myth". There are some corporate managed stores that give the store employees a small annual automatic raise of maybe 25 cents an hour. As for The franchisee owned stores, there the employees usually are at the mercy of the owner / franchisee and alot more times than not they don't give raises to them.
How do I reconcile the monies the next morning, I always have a problem when things are rung up wrong or moving cash drops to bottom of safe , and then the paperwork is all screwed up
Nothing was never a problem working there for me and if there was a mistake it was the manager not double checking stuff
