I was originally hired in 2012 and it took about a week to finalize all of my paper work and to get me trained. In subsiquent hirings, since I already had prior experiance and had completed the job training, I was working within three days of being hired. Most stores offer a small two page application which can be filled out in under a half hour.

I got hired pretty fast because of a friend i knew that worked there. The manager wanted someone that was dedicated even though i was commuting from new york to new jersey. I was really good friends with the manager and the owner of this 7 Eleven it was a franchise (family business) my time there i loved working there, i usually assisted my manager in receiving orders, as well as taking orders from various companies. Also if a money order machine didn't work i was the one who usually called the company to fix it.
