Entry job
Security Officer (Former Employee) - Orlando, FL - July 30, 2018
Good introduction to security. You are required to be onsite 1-1 1/2 hours prior to start and you are not paid for that time. You can pick the events that you work so this is a good second job option.
Pros
Flexible
Cons
Not paid for mandatory waiting time.

Professional
Security Guard (Former Employee) - West Palm Beach, FL - July 26, 2017
It is a security business that provides professional services. My typical day at a gated community would be to greet clients & visitors in a respectable and cordial manner. For visitors, I would complete my checklist which includes verification of confidential information prior to entry into the complex, secure a valid ID and record tag #. In the event that the resident does not leave the visitors name with the security guard, confirmation must be obtained by the guard calling the resident. If the resident is not at home or does not answer the phone, entrance into the complex is denied.
Pros
Provides employment advancement, meeting people from varying ethnicities & walks of life
Cons
no benefits

Cook (Former Employee) - Saint Augustine, FL - October 17, 2014
Same as everyday serving students that was in the frist to the 5th grades, stocking cooking, working with the manager, and helping her set up the snakes for the after school children,I love working with my co-worker we all work as a team. The hardest was to me was mopping, because the kichen was so big you had to mopp the whole floor. The most injoyable part was the children and talking withthem and seeing them express their feeling about what they like to eat and what they don't like
Pros
Yes at the end of the day we get to eat whats left over for the day
Cons
No breaks in between
