I was very proficient at my job as a Saw operator. I learned in 3 months what my supervisor new & more just by having the self employed mindset & giving an honest days wage. He was very condescending to both myself and the other operator, he tried to start disagreements between both of us, would talk behind your back to others. He felt very threatened by anyone who could perform the job as a saw operator better than he could & made sure to highlight the mistakes of the two "inferiors" he had below himself. Always talked about how he was paid 5-6 dollars more than the rest of us below him though I was taking on almost the full workload and doing his job while he was on the phone or stealing company time by conversing with different departments. There's definitely a lot of favoritism from the lower management down, The code of ethics can be broken if you're certain people, others you get no chance. The no gossip policy needs to be enforced strictly on the "supervisors". The owner was a wonderful lady and cared about the company. Delivery driver supervisor was an amazing leader, was a joy to work in the deliver department and away from the warehouse drama.
