Productive & Fun Work Place
Security Guard (Current Employee) - San Antonio, TX - February 9, 2023
A&D is such an experience securing what they train you to do very easy and you learn as you go.. you have fun doing it all at the same time enjoying bands from all over that come here to San Antonio the people there are very much police compliant and respectful to one another I recommend this job to anybody.. just be prepared to stand for long periods of time if you can handle it than there shouldn't be an issue:)

Horrible work environment
Security Officer (Former Employee) - Altamonte Springs, FL - March 7, 2022
The owners are trash. Patrols are in dangerous areas and they refuse to give you the tools necessary to do your job. The vehicles are in major need of repair. The hours are never consistent and your schedule often changes last minute. Pay is often times messed up. Hours missing. Low pay rates. No moral present at all. Run as fast as you can. This is the worst security company I’ve ever worked for.

Special Police Officer (Former Employee) - Temple Hills, MD - April 21, 2020
This is a family owned business and very structured. They assist to the best of their ability with job placement and any requests or needs of the officer within a timely fashion.

A & D summary
Special Police Officer (Former Employee) - Temple Hills, MD - November 15, 2018
A & D security is good for starting a career in security but there are many better options. I took a Physical ability test just for them to accept everyone including those who have failed. My site was in a rough area. While I didn't have problems there the pay didn't seem worth it.
Cons
You have to buy your own uniforms, little pay, some bad locations.

Security supervisor (Former Employee) - Raleigh, NC - January 21, 2016
As a security supervisor I looked forward to coming to work every day. You couldn't do this job without the natural will to help others rather it was civilians or coworkers. I started at an entry level position and worked my way to the top by using great judgement an integrity.
Pros
Family based enviroment, an a great job all around

Do your job and go home
Security Officer (Former Employee) - Temple Hills, MD - July 12, 2012
Security is pretty clear cut, do your job and go home. I learned to watch and notice everything in my surroundings. The management provided a family type atmosphere in the office. I loved my coworkers and they loved me. The hardest part of the job was seeing my paycheck, didn't pay too well. The most enjoyable part of the day was working with my coworkers.
Pros
great work environment
Cons
no benefits
