Good if you like this kind of work

Indeed Featured review

Tow truck driving takes a certain type of individual, if you are this type of person, than they are good to work for. Long hours to make any money and weekends and holidays are a must at times. Equipment is older and that is a problem. It is like owning your own business and there is plenty of work.

Pros

Being out on your own in the truck.

Cons

Dangerous situations picking up on frwys, people are always in a bad situation so they are often in a foul mood.

Sucks

They will run you to the ground all day and night long. And then give you no time to rest. This place is a joke. They lost 3 employees in my 1st week there. Half of the management Is not good . Do not work here if you think your going to be able to have a home life think again.

Collaborative Workplace

A typical day at work consists of arriving on time, making sure all other employees are on time. Upon first arriving dispatch must turn all systems on and make sure call are ran in a timely manner, with the right equipment. I've learned how to deal with high volume in high stress situations, with minimal to no mistakes. The dispatch and drivers must consider themselves a team. It takes all of us to run business smoothly. The hardest part of the job would be having to work 12 hours with 1 hour lunch break, it starts to get overwhelming towards the last hour. The most enjoyable part of the job is knowing you did everything you can to make sure members are safe and happy with the service.
