Great Schedule

I love working with families in their homes as a therapist. This company supports you in what you need to be successful with your clients. I’ve enjoyed working with different families & can make my own schedule!

Love my job working with youth and amazing bcba oversight. besides that, the ret of the company/agency is distant and only care about case availability and nothing on employee satisfaction or involvement. you work for the company as an independent contractor and thats it. just another pawn piece.

Easy going, fun, great kids

Nice administration and they always give you hours you want. The students are wonderful and you have opportunity to learn and express yourself as a therapist. I enjoy being an employee for A & J. Although not perfect, they certainly make up for it in many ways. It's a friendly atmosphere and they seek to mlbuild the optimum learning environment for each child. The BCBAs are great too. They are flexible and readily available to assist any session. If you need materials you will be supplied with unique sensory items, whatever is needed to help each child meet his or her goals.

Awful

Assistant Clinical Director (Former Employee) - Bellmore, NY - November 27, 2017

This was an awful workplace. The caseload is absurd and impedes your ability for clinical integrity with your clients. They are unapproachable both as an employee and for clients and they engage in tons of unethical practices. All your steps are also monitored on camera as there are camera's everywhere in the office. Paranoid management. Consider yourself warned.

Great caring staff and CEO

I have been working for A and J Behavioral Health for over 2 years now as a behavioral therapist. I received numerous trainings and I am supervised well by a BCBA. I am studying to become a BCBA myself and I hope to get hired as an Assistabt Director BCBA when I am done with my licensing exam. I think A and J Behavioral Health is a well run incredibly caring company

I follow ABA therapy and perform ABA therapy and evaluate students based on need and evaluations. I use Discrete Trial Trainings to incorporate and create engaging lessons and lesson plans. I also write therapy notes and produce session logs.
