Good place to start and learn the basics
HVAC Service Technician (Former Employee) - Savannah, GA - February 18, 2022
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedDirect supervisor is awesome. Lack of overall communication from customer, to office, to techs. Watch your checks, and keep track of hours. Can work with you on issues to be at home if needed.
Pros
Good people
Cons
No room to grow

In the beginning an extremely fun ,uplifting and very close tight knit work environment. Very family oriented
Head Dispatcher (Former Employee) - Lithia Springs, GA - July 20, 2023
Towards the last 4 months of working here I sadly started to experience a completely different dynamic and overall day to day very toxic environment within the company
Pros
For a long time I saw nothing but pros with this job
Cons
Upper management issues, terrible communication, nothing but false gossip

HVAC Technician (Former Employee) - Savannah, GA - December 9, 2022
Coming out of HVAC School I was fresh and no experience, I had experience as a mechanic and other tech trades but I was not recognized for that and any other company was the same, this company offered me the best starting rate. After working here a couple of months I found out that people that haven't even finished HVAC school or have a certification, got payed much more than me and this is because this is a "family" company, certain people will get valued more than you the new place I found is paying me twice of what I got payed here. Only stayed here 9 months, searched for another job with my new HVAC experience and the new companies where able to recognize my previous experience as well. Overall, get experience, get tools and get out.
Pros
Co workers are nice
Cons
Undervalued workers

My particular branch & office is amazing.
Dispatcher (Current Employee) - Lithia Springs, GA - July 20, 2022
I loved this job more than any job I’ve ever worked. especially my location & office. I have an amazing relationship with both my direct Branch Manager & Office Manager. higher up management who are located at other locations in south GA, are extremely corrupt. In my personal opinion, this company could very well eventually go under investigation for how poorly certain things are handled.
Pros
My particular office and coworkers amazing. each day we do something generous for one another
Cons
Terrible upper management. micro managing. Also terrible communication between every other branch

Service Technician (Former Employee) - Atlanta, GA - January 31, 2022
Aaction air is definitely a positive atmosphere with the office and technicians. They could work on communication and making sure management has tools to help employees succeed.
Pros
Office and field staff communication.
Cons
No 401k health insurance is payed for the employees. But not so much if they have a family.

Starter job
Technician (Current Employee) - Texas - October 1, 2021
Great company for someone new to the field. Little room to move up but a good place to be taught the basics of the field. You’ll be trained and put out in the field early.

The technicians within are great people
HVAC Maintenance Technician (Former Employee) - Fort Stewart, GA - June 24, 2021
Nice company to hire and give people a chance who have no experience. They don’t really allow younger techs to shadow service calls or installs more. Most new employees get sent to maintenance, and as it can be beneficial to get use to the systems, you don’t learn anything or run across issues to diagnose often. Not worth the pay.
Pros
The technicians are nice
Cons
Horrible pay. Over worked. Not appreciated. No learning experience.

You can go a whole week and only clear40
Service Technician (Former Employee) - Douglasville, GA - May 28, 2021
Looking out for upper management if you are a tech you will get screwed over they will definitely fine a way to jack you for your money you will not clear 30000 as a service tech
Pros
Support
Cons
No hrs

It was ok
Dispatcher/Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) - Savannah, GA - September 14, 2019
Fast paced, customers yell at you, lots of data entry. Good pay and incentives though. The management was nice, lots of turnover though. Techs were really helpful in showing me how AC's worked so I could sell more.
Pros
Pay/incentives
Cons
People yell at you.

ac duct work (Current Employee) - Ocala, FL - October 8, 2018
the way that things are taken cared of there are kind of childish. a action air is fun place to work for cause they are nice, and are patient when it comes to learning something. the people who work there are very interesting individuals with different personalities. they would be a great place to learn and start ac work.
Pros
learn a trade
Cons
stressful, shifty environment
