Hostile work environment

The most useful review selected by IndeedHorrible supervisors and hostile work environment. No advancement opportunities. Supervisors stand over your shoulder screaming at you if you don't answer the phones fast enough. Has sucky insurance, but at least does offer it.

Micro Managing Roach Motel

A typical day at work consists of constant micro managing from your superior regarding your 4 minute bathroom break, answering phone calls from rude receptionists at hospitals, angry people calling for emergency services, and roaches crawling in your coffee cup, and lunch.

Unproductive, unfriendly environment, and stressful.

The managers have no experience on managing. Youd be luck if people showed up and did their jobs. After covid and a bunch of people getting fired or quitting made the entire job experience ten times more stressful.

Short breaks for 8 hours, pay is low, equipment is outdated, no working from home.

Great place to work that offers reliability. Management is caring and work is easy once you get used to it. I learned a lot of skills working there as the types of calls you receive cover all different types of lives.

A Better Connection is a 24/7 day a week call center. The nature of the beast is that it is a chaotic work environment. We implemented programs that kept the employee stress levels at a minimum. We offered paid health insurance, profit sharing and employee incentive programs/awards. As an owner, I lived A Better Connection. I constantly thought and implemented better workplace systems, collaborated with my competition and vendors, researched better marketing strategies and developed communitcation solutions for the clients.
Pros
Knowing I made a positive difference in people's lives.
Cons
Lying awake at night having to rely on outside vendors and hoping they performed their service(s).

This was a second job for me. I loved working with customers and the employees where awesome to work with. I was too busy in my first job and left on good terms. I would definitely work there again.

Great Company
Emergency Dispatcher (Former Employee) - Gilbert, AZ - July 21, 2013
- I would take 300+ calls a day. I paged doctors and on call employees all day.
- I improved my customer service skills and learned how to work and talk to people that were in an emergency state of mind.
- Management was okay, a lot of micro management, and inconsistency.
- I really enjoyed working with the people I did, I mad life long friends.
- The hardest part of my day was managing the calls that i held and answered. We had to have a hold percentage.
- The most enjoyable part of my job was helping people in need and hearing a sigh of relief from people that new things were going to be okay.
