Service Technician (Former Employee) –  Arlington Heights, ILDecember 5, 2018
Very poor company to work for. Alot of promises and very few times of reward.
I have never in any other job worked so hard for such little reward.
Steer clear of this place

Good people who care about employees and custoemrs
Manager (Current Employee) –  Arlington Heights, ILNovember 20, 2018
The company has come a long way since I started here. It's grown a lot and gets more professional every year. They will ask you to work hard and improve no matter how well you perform. There are a lot of bonuses available in basically every position. Due to growth there are chances for advancement. Ownership cares about employees and employee engagement is a priority. Good health insurance with pretty low deductible. Good pay. Really nice office. It's a service business that regularly services customers into the evening so managers will get calls in the evenings and weekends sometimes. It can be stressful during busy times. Overall a great company that works hard to solve issues and keeps getting better.
Pros
Good pay, high integrity, growing
Cons
A few growing pains over the years but mostly settled

If you want to do 2 people's jobs and be underpaid for your own position, this is the place to be
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Arlington Heights, ILSeptember 28, 2018
Customer service - you will be hired for an entry level salary position, and then be given 'side jobs' - not typical busy work, but a whole job. These side jobs consist of adminstrative work that would be considered a separate, higher paid position in the world outside of ABC, and are to be completed while you are constantly taking phone calls. Once you become proficient in your duties, executive management will ask YOU (1. Because they can't be bothered, 2. They wouldn't know what do anyway) to write detailed processes & train a lower paid second in command to "help" you. I.e. - You are training your future replacement. Once you hit the 2-3 year mark, you have had a couple of stingy reviews, and/or are lucky enough to make your bonus consistently - those will be your three strikes. You will be booted with some nonsense excuse, or no excuse at all. Bonus structure is set up to make you fail. Once you get past this, you only make it if the rest of your group does well. But due to the extremely high rate of turnover, there are so many newbies with little to no training that your numbers will never be high enough. Office staff is underpaid and overworked - not enough payroll allotted to the department to accomodate the extremely aggressive marketing tactics. Absolutely zero appreciation is shown, you are constantly told you aren't doing enough. The company is owned and managed solely by family - nepotism at it's finest. They only have two tones of voice, condescending, and just plain rude. Don't expect to talk to the human resources manager about any type of issue - they are just  more... there to act as a mouthpiece to executive management & the owner, and weed out anyone that may not be drinking the green kool aid. It does not matter how good you are at you job, if you dare to speak against any of the unethical treatment or practices, you will be referred to as a "cancer" (this is the preferred verbage of the owner) and you will be gone. No sick days, no real retirement plan, unless you are a higher paid employee, as the plan is set up to the maximum benefit of the company. Do not expect any long term growth, promotions, or real future in this company if you are in customer service. Technicians and salespeople are the only ones that matter here.  less

Family owned
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Arlington Heights, ILSeptember 22, 2018
Small family owned company. Don't expect to work here for more than 3 years. You WILL be let go. They don't seem to like people working there for long periods of time. The turn over at this company is rediculously high. New people every week. It's a revolving door for both technicians and office staff. Since it's family owned, all of the managers are family. They can be very rude and nasty at times. Nothing you can do about it either since they own the place. Compensation is a joke, The health insurance sucks too. No retirement
Pros
Nice outings
Cons
Turn over rates, compensation, rude management, terrible health insurance, no retirement, not ideal for longevity employment

Journeyman (Former Employee) –  Palatine, ILJanuary 10, 2018
Joke plumbing manager. Has no real plumbing experience. They have no real customers scheduled. It's a sales game w customers. It's pathetic to base a business on car sales techniques. It like the left over group you worked w who got fired at previous shops.
