The most useful review selected by IndeedI worked as a contractor , so the flow of work wasn't constant. It is probably to work here part time, have a night job if you plan to work here as a contractor.

Other (Former Employee) - Duluth, GA - April 6, 2022
TBH I should’ve looked at the reviews before accepting my offer. It was a bait and switch, and I never ended up in the area I was told I would work in. Pretty unsupportive, largely because managers are too busy to give feedback.

Typical staffing firm - Nothing above average
Operations Specialist (Former Employee) - Pittsburgh, PA - December 12, 2021
ACS placed me in a financial corporation. There was a backlog of physical paperwork that needed processed (caused by COVID, layoffs & regular employees working from home). Nothing unusual at the job site. Typical financial office. Took about 7-8 days to get technology (which appears to be typical). Then another 10-days of waiting to be trained. So, about my first 3-4 weeks on the job site was mainly waiting for tech access then waiting for training. The role I held was a "heads down, data-entry" job, which I enjoyed. Office was quiet and the regular employees rarely spoke to each other let alone the onsite contractors. Not a bad thing, just saying if you're used to asking questions or chatting during the workday, you may dislike the culture. (Culture may be caused by COVID.) The hardest part of the job was the lack of communication from regular staff for the office I was placed in. There is very little dialog between different offices on the same floor and most people are working from home... so be prepared to wait days for feedback. Also most people working "in-office" seem awkward or generally shy. The next hardest part was the lack of communication from ACS for onsite performance or rules and regulations of the job site I was assigned to. From my one experience you are on your own while working for ACS. Don't expect your representative to keep you updated to expectations rules, and regulations.
Pros
Weekly pay, no one from office contacts you once on job site.
Cons
No one from office contacts you once on job site, recruters do not share rules regardling job site, allot of "blind ignorance" from recruiters and managers towards rules and regulations.

I have never worked for a disorganized, chaotic company in my life. This company is a total joke. Don't waste your time. Not worth it . Management, supervisor people that supposed to help you are not there to help you.

Senior Leaders Are Culturally Inept
Information Technology Project Manager (Current Employee) - Newport News, VA - September 11, 2019
Senior Leaders must do a better job at staying connected to their team & more importantly heeding their feedback. I hope that they get better because they will not attract supreme talent otherwise.

Stay away!
Duluth employee (Former Employee) - Duluth, GA - July 23, 2019
They hire great people but after the implementation of your ideas and processes they bring in a family member to take your job. I watched positions get “eliminated” Only to see them either replaced by a family member in the US or the position was posted in India. The leadership, for a lack of a better word, team for this company is comprised up of family with no morals. The culture is toxic.

Temp agency that actually has time for their contract employees
premium processor at DXC Technology (Current Employee) - Jacksonville, IL - July 22, 2019
Great place to work. I was a contract employee, but they treated me well. I never had any problems with this company at all. They were very kind and kept in contact with me throughout my assignment.

Great pay but confusing job
Data Entry Clerk II (Former Employee) - Pittsburgh, PA - May 29, 2019
Pay rate was better than most agencies. I did not like that you had to take an extra day off without pay for holidays. The job I was on was very confusing. Everyone had an opinion on how things needed to be done. If you follow one, another would tell you it was wrong.
Pros
pay rate
Cons
Having to take an unpaid day off after a holiday
