The “new” PTO policy is very lame. You get nothing until you’ve been there for a full year, at which point you get a WHOLE WEEK! You need to be there for years until it increases.
Prior to the CHANGE, it was very generous and the main reason people stayed. Employee retention became a non-priority and they’d rather people leave when they get to be “too expensive.”
