Great to work for, but not at

The health benefits and PTO are great but it's tons of cold calling, back by multiple systems that are unreliable and outdated. Personally I found the job incredibly frustrating as someone who has worked in insurance before. Even if you know insurance like the back of hand its meaningless while using the systems they have.

It’s ok

They get you excited during initial interviews about bonuses after every referral made from each call we take to later finding out that it won’t happen until you’ve been with the company for atleast a year. Never mentioned during the interview or even during the month long training. Departments are not helpful towards other departments. For example the escalations team is a complete joke. You try to transfer over an escalation like we were trained to do and they do everything in their power to not even attempt to take the call. Overall it’s an ok job if you can keep up with the all the rules regarding auto insurance but can get overwhelming really quick.

Okay but better pay needed

Job is relatively easy. Work and home life balance is decent. Pay is not good though. They need to reevaluate the cost of living in major cities and start to pay their employees a livable working wage. Management does not micromanage, which is a positive.

Good company culture, benefits, and compensation

Diverse organization, advancement opportunities. Good work/life balance, lots of remote and hybrid opportunities. Lots of different departments to work in: sales, customer service, IT, HR, etc.

Thing have Changed

I worked for the company for over four years. Now that AAA Carolinas merged with ACG it culture is not what it once was. A company that once loved and valued its employees now treats everyone like a number. Seniority does not matter. Be prepared for extensive sales goals even when you are not in the sales department and if you don’t meet your goals you will be laid off.
