Numbers
NEW BUSINESS SALES AGENT (Former Employee) –  Trinity, FLMay 21, 2019
Numbers is the only thing AAA Auto Club Group cares about. Data, data, data. Numbers driven company. As a sales agent you have quotas for P&C Insurance, Life Insurance, memberships, credit cards, referrals, calls and quotes.
Pros
Commision based salary so make as much as you want
Cons
Pressure from management everyday and many quotas to meet

No room for advancement at this company
Sales Representative (Former Employee) –  MinnesotaMay 16, 2019
If you are an over achiever, AAA will not advance you, they need you to hit their numbers. The advancements go to the under performers or unqualified.

Life sales
Sales (Former Employee) –  Clinton Township, MIJanuary 24, 2019
Mid management is woefully inept, could not lead a thirsty man to water. More concerned with covering their "numbers" than training and understanding the antiquated systems, lack of communications between the home & auto dept and the Life dept makes it hard to accomplish goals, not at the club level but at the mid management level.
Pros
fellow agent at the club level
Cons
Mid management

Good company to get started in customer service
Sales Agent (Former Employee) –  Town and Country, MOJanuary 4, 2019
Customer service oriented company. Management played favorite with leads giving leads to the top agents instead of equally to all. Company does have great benefits.

All aspects of travel...research, presenting and reserving/payment. I loved working with clients and helping them choose a vacation for them and their family. This is a very rewarding career. The most difficult part of the job is competition.

Sales (Current Employee) –  San Diego, CAAugust 8, 2018
The company tends to restructure pay often. Each restructure has resulted in pay cuts across the board. The company has an extremely high turnover rate not only in the sales staff but also in management.

Good work place but ineffeicent management.
Sale & Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Oakland, CAJuly 30, 2018
Dealing with new people and helping them was enjoyable. I enjoyed interacting with different people and finding about their problems and their expectations from AAA and knowing that my work will be of value to them.

Workplace was sometimes hectic but exciting, though in some occasions got politicized and management couldn't handle diversity efficiently.
Pros
good benefits
Cons
too many changes in management or lack of proper management.

The company is changing marketing strategies. We have become more of an out bound calling Agency office that was originally presented within the job opportunity.
Pros
satisfactory work environment

Strategic changes effecting our ability to maximize our earning potential.

The job had strict hours and did not reward successful producers. I would have like more flexibility of schedule . There was no opportunity to network outside of of the office.

Don't believe everything you are told in interview
Sales Agent (Current Employee) –  Saint Louis, MissouriApril 4, 2018
While I love the people I work with at the office, the training given to me was not what I expected nor told. I have had 3 different managers in less than a year and no one seems to do anything the same. They give you last minute notice to do things and expect you to drop everything to do them.
Pros
Great benefits
Cons
over the top expectations

It was okay
Sales & Service Agent (Former Employee) –  Omaha, NEJanuary 23, 2018
The management in the building and coworkers were awesome. The company is horrible and doesn’t take the employees into consideration at all before making drastic decisions. It was definitely a family like environment, it was just sad to see everyone so broken everyday because of the horrible situations the company put them and the management in. The number one issue with the company now is the CEO. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem like he’ll be going anywhere anytime soon.

B2B Group Membership Sales Agent
Group Member Sales Agent (Current Employee) –  Rancho Cucamonga, CAJanuary 22, 2018
They don't tell you it's a month to month position. To hit your goal you will work 7 days a week. No Management support. No department training. Management has favorites and gives them accounts to hit goal. You will never meet your department VP. HR is useless. No job security!

Stable work environment for an assisitant
Sales/Assisting Agent (Former Employee) –  Kansas City, MOOctober 22, 2017
Stable work environment that provided adequate training at their headquarters and supports training agents. They are excellent at supporting your career but I felt the targets that they wanted you to reach after training were somewhat unrealistic the higher up you move.
Pros
Stability
Cons
target policy counts
