Excellent clinicians and management, difficult worklife balance and expectations for beginning provider
Physician Assistant (Former Employee) – Lansdale, PA – June 11, 2015
A typical work day was second shift hours during week, and 6 weekend days per month. Would see patients of both lower and high acuity. Would need to spend 1 hour plus finishing charts at the end of your shift.
Learned to process and disposition patients quickly.
Management was excellent and empathetic.
Hardest part of job was to meet expectations of busy ER attendings with no previous ER experience and no orientation program to help you succeed.
Working with excellent doctors and nurses was the best part of the job.
Nursing, and physician excellence
Unreal expectations for beginning providers, no orientation program, and poor worklife balance.
