Caseloads are unreasonable, compensation not competitive
Requirements and policies are not clearly communicated. Expectations change without notice, caseloads are extremely high and requirements are increased monthly. Pay is not competitve.

Wasn't a bad work enviroment, loved my fellow employees and manager, patients were difficult at times but overall wasn't a bad place to work, the pay sucked only got 2% raises for 3 years not good.
LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) in Cartersville, GA
on May 5, 2021
I worked at this clinic for 6 years. At first it was a great place to work but there have been many changes in management over the years. I left because of the toxic work environment. Management is horrible. They bully and berate the employees. They have nasty attitudes. The clinic has a large turnover because of this.
Senior Corporate Tax Accountant in Franklin, TN
on May 3, 2021
I worked in the tax department as a staff and eventually as senior corporate tax accountant. Compared to other accounting jobs, you at least have the benefit of not getting hammered with busy season hours for several months out of the year (more like 55 hours per week for about a month in January/February). The pay is pretty good compared to public accounting -- especially if you break it down per hour. What I particularly enjoyed about working here was the team. I had a really good management team to fall back on whenever I got stuck on a task and the tax director is fantastic. In the end, I simply wanted out of tax and opted to leave. If you're a tax staff or senior in public accounting that is wondering is the grass is greener, then it's definitely worth considering Acadia as your next place of employment.
RN Supervisor/Charge Nurse in Austin, TX
on April 26, 2021
environment is unsafe for staff and patients. both get harmed on a daily basis and no real policy change or investigation to make the place safe. work environment is filthy and no change is made to improve hygiene. I'm not sure how they have managed to remain open.several patients have died there just within a year and the circumstances are not appropriate, major red flags. many of the employees there have serious mental health concerns that are fully known but they are allowed to work without supervision.a typical day at work begins with being dangerously understaffed, but admissions continue to come in. many staff threated safe harbor.management doesn't try to address this at all.the workplace culture is unaccountability.
