Very unhealthy. There is a tremendous staff turnover at Acadia. It is a big corporation and cares more about money than staff or patients. Everything is about numbers. Patients are admitted, though they are not appropriate for the specific level of care, just to keep the numbers up. Staff is overworked and underpaid. Support staff does not get breaks. It's very sad and people--staff and patients--are depressed, anxious, and don't last very long. Very high burnout rate.

NO patient care and only as good as your intervals (it's about numbers NOT care). Counselors, even the best ones are judged by the numbers, not the care. HIGHLY STRESSFUL not because of the patients but because of the unrealistic request for ####'s from the corporate office.

I loved the patients! But, NO breaks, intimidated if you went to the bathroom, dirty environment, NO ergonomics in work space, low wages, management has no nurse background, disrespectful to the nurses.

They are liers! They tell everything you want to hear..the patients are treated better then the employees. The patients get away with acting horrible to you.
