Contemplate rolling back over in bed each morning due to the high stress of the job. Management is in it for the numbers, extremely happy when we have a full hospital, but never think about the employees on the floor. We often come home with bruises or having been yelled at all day by patients. You get torn in ten different directions and it’s very hard on your own mental health.
You come in super early, our facility was 6am-2:30pm but others can be earlier. Expect to see 5 patients for an hour each and do a couple groups. Tons of case management and management micromanaging you every step of the way. Team meetings throughout the week. Don't expect to leave work on time or to actually eat during your lunch.
