You are in command of your career and it is up to you to connect with Partners or Sr Managers to pursue a chosen path. The Accenture culture is global even for alumni. It is very unique that once you are in you are in for life and ex-collegued become friends for life.

The office culture has been dismal lately. Poor manager/employee relations and the feeling of being overworked.

This is a high energy work place and if you enjoy challenge and immense diversity of work and people and want to solve hard problems then this is a place you will thrive in. If you don't then this is probably not a place you will enjoy. The things I like most include the respect for every person regardless of their level in the company, the immense variety of projects, the ability to define your own niche and the very competitive pay. The things I like least is the failure to show the same rewards for technically capable leaders versus golden tongue sales folks that sell what they don't understand.

The environment is only good if you are very young and if management takes a personal liking to you. Your performance, attendance and attitude has very little with how well you do there or how you're treated. Avoid Accenture especially if you are over 35.
