Founded in 1973, Accu-Tube has become a world leader in manufacturing precision stainless steel tubing for the Medical Device industry. It was one of the first companies to specialize in the Medical Device industry, rather than treating it as an “add on.” We specialize in processing a select group of stainless steel alloys such as 17-7, 304/304L, 316/316L, and 321 that meet the rigorous standards of the Medical Device industry.

Accu-Tube is one of only an handful of suppliers that has in-house centerless grinding capabilities. This process allows us to achieve the tight tolerances necessary to prepare tubes for Swiss machining. We produce more than 3 million feet of Swiss-machine-ready tubing annually.

In 2020, Accu-Tube acquired Mercury Tube as a wholly owned subsidiary. Mercury Tube is a leading global manufacturer of high-precision stainless steel and high-nickel alloy tubing for the Aerospace and Controlled Industrial markets. Its ability to weld and draw thicker-walled, small-diameter tubing complements Accu-Tube’s capabilities. This acquisition reunites two long-standing, trusted providers of precision stainless steel tubing, as the companies shared ownership for several years in the early 1970s.
