Know What You're Getting Into
Written by Direct Care Staff (Former Employee) from Utah County, UT on July 17, 2018
The hiring process is nice and fast, you get trained, and then thrown in right away. You usually have no idea what's going on, and it stays that way. The company promises outings and socializing for clients, but I have only heard of two events in the months working here. And you don't know about the events until last minute. You provide the transportation, - more ... mileage not paid, and you sometimes have to use your own money to get into places clients want to go. You probably won't get reimbursed. Management is very poor-- the only reason I stay is for the clients. I don't recommend this job, not unt ... - less
ProsYou're doing meaningful work
ConsLast minute schedule changes, poor management, being clueless
