Senior Project Manager "OSP West (Former Employee) –  Albuquerque, NMMay 21, 2019
ADB looks good on paper and to all internal Directors and above but in my experience they micro-manage to the extent of over-working each field employee from Sr Project Manager and down. They have a high turnover of employees due to unrealistic expectations of work assignments. They underbid competition to get the work without proper management in place "experienced" to do the work. From my experience ADB needs to re-align all Sr VP and down to properly lead them to a better financial outcome in every aspect of their company model.
Pros
none
Cons
every aspect of project management from Sr VP and down.

This is the worst paying company I’ve ever dealt with .
Contractors (Former Employee) –  Memphis, TNMarch 16, 2019
Your crews work there butts off and it’s impossible getting paid . They send you from one person to the next for weeks . Alway adding one more process for you . Basically the worst management I’ve ever seen . They treat the sub contractors like dirt. There accounting practices are shady and ridiculous. . The staff is rude. The Memphis team is horrible . Save yourselves the stress . It’s takes months to get your money from them after you’ve completed the work staff is arrogant and shady
Pros
Lots of work

Hard time getting your invoicing paid

Culture is great as long as you are management. Best thing about the company is the community involvement. No support from supervisior or direct reports. Makes decisions without getting full story.

Foreman/Laborer (Current Employee) –  Pacific, MOFebruary 19, 2019
To many people people trying to tell you what to do and how to do it so you get a lot of mixed answers and directions. The people you get to know in the field are great people and the work is fun but sometimes a challenge but that just makes it more of a learning experience.
Pros
Descent pay
Cons
Not enough time with family

They continue to blow smoke
Executive Assistant (Current Employee) –  Eureka, MOJanuary 26, 2019
They like to act like they are family oriented and care about your family, but it’s a lie. All they care about is money. The work load requires you to work more than 40 hours a week. They recently upped their pay scale but only to those that travel and new hires coming in. They don’t seem to care about the people that have been there already and I continue to hear about people getting hired on making what I am making and I’ve worked with the company for years. Not to mention all the ladies in the office like drama and you can hear them spreading rooms as you walk around.

Operator (Former Employee) –  San Antonio, TXNovember 13, 2018
Traveled all over the US with this company, in the middle of a transfer the pay scale changed. I was unaware until newer people were telling me they made more than me with less experience. I had brought it up multiple times and they had seen that the best opportunity for a raise would be at the semi-annual evaluation. Which nobody at this shop had know or seen what I had previously done for the company, making it completely oblivious to even try and entertain them. People you work with become family, they say they care about your family, but they don't, honestly. They just want money. And advancement in the workplace, climbing the structural ladder, kick it goodbye. Their values and career advancement make it near impossible to move up when they continue to hire people as foremen and higher management.
Pros
Travel and see the US if you'd like.

Project Foreman (Current Employee) –  St. LouisApril 19, 2016
A typical day is very busy for all employees. there is ample work throughout the year. Management is always willing to listen and attentive to the employees needs. Co-workers are of varying levels of experience and are always willing to learn from their peers. Travel is the hardest part of the job. Being away from family for weeks at a time creates a continues struggle.

Safety and Family oriented company
Project Manager (Former Employee) –  St. Louis, MOJanuary 7, 2015
Safety and a family oriented company. The company trying to grow too fast and don't have the proper management or the people in place to maintain their expectation for growth. High turnovers.
Pros
If you bring in a client you can be a VP in the company
