Holiday pay and a little bonus around the holidays would be nice considering how hard caregivers work. Also take time to set out an actual training program. Don't send someone out with just a handbook after watching 20 year old vhs training tapes that are neither useful or relevant anymore. And lastly, make sure office staff in each location are trained to train people.

Ensure managers and supervisors are actually doing their jobs. When I worked there I had paperwork lost, lots of issues with not enough hours and empty promises about finding more clients for me, and even threats from my supervisor toward the end that if I couldnt go to take care of client then she would have to leave the office and do it herself. Heaven forbid. We wouldnt want her to actually go through what the aides do. The supervisors and managers attitudes have a large impact on the aides, make sure they are as nice as they would be to clients and you might keep employees a little better.
