Chill, fun, good pay.
Retail Associate (Current Employee) - Loudoun County, VA - August 30, 2023
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedPay is very competitive for what they actually have you do. The work isn't bad at all, managers are all nice and do their jobs well. Employees select a free pair of shoes every 3 or so months.

Poor Company to Work For
Store Associate/Cashier (Former Employee) - Kittery, ME - November 21, 2023
Management will fill you with false hope of a raise or promotion, and only after you follow up with them (multiple times), do they tell you that you have not gotten the promotion or raise. Even though I’m the beginning when you first ask, they say ‘oh yeah I think you deserve a promotion/ raise’ then to deny you for invalid reasons. ‘I don’t think you’d be a good fit’, ‘oh you call out too much’ (only calls out when sick; 1-2 days a year). Oh! The benefits of working there? You get 50% off - but guess what? The sale all year for the store is 50% off (employees 50% does not stack). There is no benefit to working here.
Cons
Management, Employee Discount

Watch out
Retail Associate (Former Employee) - Paramus, NJ - August 31, 2023
Discount is great and the benefits for part time employees are not so bad either. If you have a good set of people that you work with, the day will run smooth. Be wary of management - some are unprofessional and play favorites.

Adidas
Retail Sales Associate (Former Employee) - Clarksburg, MD - July 3, 2023
It’s a good job if you want to make some type of income. They do cut your hours a lot and moving up isn’t very common so you definitely would a just an associate for a few years😂

Could be a lot better
Retail Sales Associate (Current Employee) - Daytona Beach, FL - April 29, 2023
Their system in the back of house is antiquated. They micromanage a lot but some of the managers are cool. Pay is alright but there is barely any traffic in the store it's very boring to work there.

Overall decent work but no appreciation/fair treatment for employees
Retail Associate (Current Employee) - Portland, OR - September 20, 2022
Not the toughest job in terms of average employee workload but unfair treatment is shown to certain employees. Lack of communication from management to employees about changes made regarding pertinent issues. Employees smashed performance indicator goals and were given ~25% of the usual quarterly bonus, given in store credit instead of actual money to be used for groceries, bills, etc. Employees were not made aware of the change in bonus structure until last minute and felt lead on. Heard plenty of stories about backstabbing and petty behavior between leaders. Overall incompetency in communication and the relationship between upper management, leadership, and employees. Not the hardest job, but the workplace environment and expectations do not line up with the compensation or benefits.
Pros
Employee discount, access to employee store, free ramen and water
Cons
Forever changing schedule, lack of communication, lack of benefits or competitive wage

Typical Retail Job
Retail Sales Associate (Former Employee) - Riverhead, NY - June 17, 2022
Nothing too extreme. They expect you to work above your pay constantly, and do not value the time and effort you put into your job. But, it's also an easy retail job. Management is relatively flexible if you give them a heads up about needing specific days/time off. Benefits are alright if you stay with the company for a while.

management was awful, no growth opportunity
Retail Sales Associate (Former Employee) - Sunrise, FL - March 8, 2021
Although Adidas is one of the most known sports brands plus a multi-million dollar company, they care little about their employees' mental wellness. Managers, specifically at this store, will expect way more for what they pay, I have 5 years of retail experience, and this has been by far the worst. There is not a minute you can breathe or rest (especially holidays). They're regularly under-staffed due to many people quitting often, so they expect you to do the job of 3 at once. There is no opportunity to grow at this store at all. Pay as a part-time associate was already bad enough, I was promoted to supervisor after 1 year with no raise plus more work. They usually hire outside people for management positions which is awful. If you like the brand and want to work there expecting an employee discount, they give out the same one they have all the time (50% off). Breaks and scheduling are disorganized and requesting changes are usually denied or take around a month for approval. (unless you're a managers favorite) Managers get too involved in personal life and are not professional at all. The only reason I would work here would be if I desperately needed a job. Other than that, this mall has many more stores, consider a small one since they are way more flexible with everything.
Pros
Free shoes every 3 months, bonus every end of year, friendships.
Cons
no benefits, bad scheduling, bad pay, managers.

One of the best places to work as a college student.
Store Associate (Current Employee) - Williamsburg, VA - January 16, 2021
Working here is a good experience. Not a stressful place to work, the work culture is good with the managers usually being friendly and professional. The hardest part of the job is dealing with annoying customers and the most enjoyable part is when you get to buy shoes and apparel with your employee discount.
Pros
Employee discount, good management and a good work culture.
Cons
Compensation could be a little higher.

Working at Adidas
Retail Sales Associate (Current Employee) - Lancaster, PA - November 6, 2019
Definitely a great job for recently out of high school or still in high school! The management can be unfair and you have to ask to get a raise, no set raise. Sometimes feels like I'm in high school when I'm really with young-middle aged adults.

Just like any other retail job it is very repetitive.
Retail Associate (Former Employee) - El Paso, TX - July 18, 2019
Tried to move up in the ladder and would get no opportunities to due to the lack of fair management. Good job if you are young with no ambition yet. Not a hard job by any means but within 2 years of working there only got a 16 cent raise while I was one of the top sellers and was extremely passionate about the brand. Managers would typically prefer to work with female employees over males.

It’s a very fun and easy place to work for people who are looking for a first job. It is a retail store and part time though so the hours will not be enough.
Pros
Discount, easy work
Cons
Lack of hours

Store Sales Associate (Former Employee) - Concord, NC - January 14, 2019
Work was great but management was terrible.
Hardest part about the job were the shop lifters, we are not allowed to stop them.
Most enjoyable part was my co workers and most of the great people we meet/ help everyday.
Pros
benefits
Cons
management

Favoritism at its finest
Retail Associate (Former Employee) - Las Vegas, NV - July 25, 2018
Adidas will be my preferred brand but not my preferred job. Management was very unhelpful and benefits were beyond low. Working there for 2 years with empty promises and no future of opportunity no matter your hard work, dedication and love for the company made it much less desirable to work there. The only greatest thing about working there was your team and co-workers. They are the best people with incredible stories and their passion for the brand is and will be the only reason why you'd want to work for Adidas.
Pros
Teamwork and discounts
Cons
Management, Drunk customers and no benefits
