Toxic and stressful

I was a scheduler. It was not a positive work place. Everyone ks very cliquey and toxic. Favoritism and pay raises go to the people who brown nose. They always mess up your paychecks.

Not a good company

Not a good company to work for. There are plenty of other companies that pay more. And require no experience. This job is just a stepping stone. I'm looking for another one as soon as possible.

Pros

No pros

Cons

Terrible pay

Don't Join company even if your a bad employee!

No pay raises. No growth possibilities. Only reprimands, threats, and playing with schedule. Also, LP work requires 15$-40$ daily for parking. I was never told this. Get work experience at reputable place instead were you dont have to deal with this. How many supervisors, managers, for the area? How long employees work there? When was last time pay raise? What accounts company has in area? After validating this information, get out! But, if your okay with the above, then this place for you!

Workplace with a pleasant atmosphere

This is a nice company to work for. My job site is in a very nice location in Northern Virginia (Rosslyn, Arlington), and just a the river from Washington, DC. The job is simple enough and the people and employees are nice enough. There are some personnel/HR matters that could use some attention and the pay and benefits could be better. Otherwise, it’s good company.

Pros

Very nice work area, ample places to eat, free parking

Cons

Low pay, scarce benefits

Terrible management

They don't care about were you stay they will send you more then 42miles for 6 hours shift at low pay rates and without paying for your miles field supervisor talks down about hard working employees outside the company to others very unprofessional

Pros

None

Cons

Everything

Management is the problem

You’ll have the bare minimum to understand your position, and they expect you to understand it all within a week. And they will expect you to fill in if someone calls out on that spot and if you don’t, they’ll hold it against you for a period of time. Depending on where you’re stationed, it might get hectic. Otherwise the job ain’t too bad by itself.

Pros

Hours in overtime

Cons

Not really knowing what to do under certain circumstances

Productive and fun work place

The company let you go if you make a mistake without telling you the corrective measure. Although, the environment is a fun place. The training on the job should be intensive.

Pros

Lunch break and benefits

Cons

Nonprovisional of corrective measures.

Management is horrible and dispatch is clueless

Upper management is horrible doing their jobs. Sending people to work over an hour away. Have to keep track of hours to get paid correctly. Make sure the pay rate is confirmed before starting shift. Dispatchers are clueless 95% of the time especially the new hires. Zero stars if was possible.

Pros

Paid travel time

Cons

.25 cents per mile, management.

Sucks

You can work overtime, but they dont pay for it when it is done. They need to hire more people but they wont. You work long hours but they dont pay you on time.

This job is respectfully produced and the environment is great

I would recommend this Admiral Security Compsny to any one. And guarantee that he or she would like it too. A fun place to be in and around the public

Pros

free parking in the garage.

Cons

Small break room, but will get over it.

never again

in the office to many roosters and not enough chickens. They treat their supervisors like children, they have no idea how to speak to people. They expect you to come to all these trainning classes on your day off without pay.. not worth it for low pay and lot of stress

Great pay, flexible work schedule, but...

Pros: Your job is simple if you are an ERT all you do is stand at post (sit in your car) making sure nobody breaks onto the job site and take any equipment (nothing ever really happens because the sites are extremely remote or have high traffic of workers) if you have prior experience, military or LEO, you'll get PAID $25/hourly. They are able to work around your schedule and pick days out for you. If you want to work weekends only, you can do it, if you want to work mon-fri, you can do it. Management is extremely fair and cooperative with you, regardless the amount of people they work with daily, they will make time for you. Also weekly pay, always on time and can track your pay, stubs, and tax info on paycom. You get 2 hours of CA Meal penalty, pretty much free extra 2 hours on top of your 12 hour shift for "not taking a lunch" can't leave site for any reason. Cons: benefits package is horrible. They say they compensate you for your mileage but they do NOT! I travel to the bay area for 4.5 hours, and I only get paid $15.45 for the trip and back! They put you in some cheap motels, the other companies give actual hotels with breakfast and they give their employers cheap hotels that only serve bagels and muffins for breakfast.... the hotels are $5 more than the motels, I've looked.. no advancement opportunities so far. 12 hour shifts, no leaving site for food, need to find yourself something to keep you entertained and to keep yourself up on the grave shifts. In the end is it worth it? Yes it is if you don't mind being away from your family for 3-7 days, also if you don't -

Worst

No pay increases management horrible hours ridiculous did not care about employees didn't adhear to contract guidelines for pay so employees were getting paid 2 dollars an hour less then minimum stated in contract but were admiral still got paid

Satisfied with Admiral

I have enjoyed my time so far with this company. The pay is one of the best in the area and the hours have been more than enough with plenty of OT at certain sites. If one does a good job then there's no issues with management and enough trust to where your being checked up on constantly. At times the locations are out of area but I personally don't mind for the pay. Not sure how long the contracts will last for and unsure what's going to happen after which is downside.

Pros

Pay and schedule

Cons

Unsure of length of contract and few sites

Organization non-communication

The communication throughout management is horrific. The client and site I work for, good luck getting a uniform. I was offered a position the first day of my interview, however my background took two weeks to complete and I had to take another assignment. I was shorted pay a few times, so keep up with your hours. Overall this is a good company.

Pros

Pay is decent, site I'm on pays through lunch, can't leave site.

Cons

Healthcare is too expensive, make you pay for certification, good luck getting a uniform.
