Field Maintenace Supervisor (Current Employee) –  CaliforniaJanuary 4, 2019
Driving a lot of highway miles on a daily basis. You do feel like you are running your own business. Management was ever changing for me (three managers in 2 1/2 years). They were all good to me as was the Director of Operations. Very nice people to work. On the road all day which can be challenging to accomplish the daily schedule especially with bad traffic or weather. Travel to other locations in the country was sometimes fun, but not every month.
Pros
4 Day work week
Cons
The amount you see every other Thursday on your pay stub.

The most Stressful jobs I have ever had.
Account Manager/Sales (Former Employee) –  Santa Ana, CAApril 14, 2016
the sales team is the foundation of this job, yet they are under appreciated and the most micro-managed. other departments did not follow through with their jobs causing delays in paid commissions and sometimes loss of accounts because installs were not handled properly.
Pros
free lunches, extra days off

I love the basis of what this company is about, keeping our roadways clean and safer to drive.
Account Manager (Current Employee) –  Santa Ana, CAJuly 8, 2014
Most leads are cold calls. You spend a lot of time searching for prospects. The difficult part about this job is it is considered by most as a secondary marketing opportunity and not many feel it is as important as digital, print or other outdoor media opportunities making it a "hard sale". Although a "team environment" is encouraged it is not respected by all making it an undesirable place to work. Huge turn over in sales department!!
Pros
Company does provide extra bonuses like, lunches, parties, outings.
Cons
Very stressful enviroment to work.

Smart For The Environment, Smart For Business
Highway Maintenance Worker (Current Employee) –  Detroit, MIFebruary 4, 2013
Removing highway litter with a grapler and bag in hand along Metro Detroit Highways. The Highway gets cleaned up and the business that sponsors a one mile segment gets good advertising PR to the thousands of drivers a day who see their sign. My supervisor always makes sure I have water and am safe. We work as a team because some areas have alot of trash to clean up. Its not as easy as one may think but it needs to be done and there is a measure of satisfaction in knowing that I have done my part.
Pros
working outside
Cons
alot of walking
