It's a fun place to work and I am learning a little about cars, I just want to do more with the NASCAR and automotive indrustry. I would like to stay at Advance Auto Parts but I need a better paying job because I am about to move out of my parents house fopr the first time.

This company is just like any corporate retail company some areas are great to work in and others are bad depending on management. If you end up with a great district and store manager you will like it.

Horrible place to work

There pay structure is horrible you can work for walmart and do less and get paid a lot more. Management does not support you in any way and just as soon get rid of you unless your a favorite

Demanding but overall fun

The pay is the worst part. Advance really doesn't pay well. Standard parts people were paid less than local McDonald's, but also had to replace car batteries in the parking lot with no protection in all kinds of weather. That did it for me. I couldn't face another hot summer changing batteries in the parking lot.
