I have no idea what advance disposal is, however if it is a trucking company I would suggest that the company pay their drivers no less than $25.00 per hour which is the equivalent of 50 cents a mile. then to make sure the driver has full access to his or her HOS, I would ask the president to pass a bill requiring shippers not to call for a truck until the product has been produced and ready to load within one hour of drivers arrival and to be mty within one hour of drivers arrival, because frankly this corporate warehouse B/S of holding up the truck and driver for hours at a time and to add insult to injury they require the driver to make sure he or she pays to get unloaded. I do not know of any driver who has ordered a truck load of product. It is their product and they should be responsible for unloading.

Pay FEL drivers more. They get. 18-.22 cent per yard. New drivers make more than veteran drivers. To keep good experienced drivers, pay them more. Valdosta has the lowest paid FEL drivers around

Listen to your drivers. They are the ones out there in unsafe trucks working long hours. They know what's going on out there.

Don't lie to the drivers, fix equipment that is not up to dot requirements. Don't get on drivers about smoking or using hands free bluetooth while expecting them to drive unregistered trucks and trailers. Don't make a pay scale which pays less the more we work while expecting us to work extra to cover other people's routes with nothing in it for us but 6 or 7 dollars an hour.
