Clinicians run
Clinician (Former Employee) –  OhioOctober 19, 2018
Nope. No advancement, high cost of benefits outweighs any high salary if carrying for a whole family, disorganized and easily panicked management who made decisions and policy for the entire building on whims and without informing staff or clients. A lot. Absolutely no competent supervision. No offered on-site clinical supervision. Long hours, crazy expectations related to documentation, and one’s ability to manage time effectively. Micromanaging while simultaneously cluelessly guiding from management. If you like your license, don’t bother.
Pros
The staff were mostly amazing.
Cons
High cost of benefits, unrealistic expectations.

Sales Associate (Former Employee) –  Winter Park, FLOctober 8, 2018
Bad management, terrible benefits can make way more money in this industry working elsewhere. This company has a terrible turn around rate as employees don't like being yelled at.

Average to fair atmosphere with poor mid level management
UR Specialist (Former Employee) –  RCM Fort LauderdaleJuly 27, 2018
This company has pluses and minuses with the minuses much more than the pluses
Upper management doesn't care about the employees genuinely as evidenced by the large X-Mas bonus of $25/person They are only and mainly interested in the bottom line>>$$$>>rather than the quality of the employees they recruit. Hiring at minimal amounts rather than the amounts for the experience and knowledge someone brings into the organization. A lot of the mid-level management have security complexes and exhibit double standards with certain race, gender and with the experience of the employees. They do not train new employees equally across the line.
As far as raises>>don''t hold your breath. The maximum amount of raise after one year is 3-3.5%..an amount that can add about 25$ bi-weekly>>gets you a half a tank of gas possibly.
The mid-level management did not give respect or recognize the work product of their employees who excelled. They said they did but failed to show that!
Pros
Provided company lap top to use so that could have 3 screens.
Cons
Poor mid-level management, no breaks advised, no designated lunch breaks.

Not a good place
Customer Service (Former Employee) –  Fort Lauderdale, FLMay 3, 2018
This company does not have a 401K plan, the medical insurance is very costly for the employees. The management is emotionally driven. There are not a lot of opportunities to advance.

Best addiction treatment facility ever
Line staff (Current Employee) –  RidgefiledJanuary 16, 2018
The Recovery Village Ridgefield is one of the best places that I have worked in the recovery services field. The organization is designed with the client and family in mind. They treat their staff and clients with respect and dignity. The newly appointed executive director brought the therapeutic community model to the facility which has proved to be exceptionally well received.
Ridgefield staff know recovery and they know how to help their clients engage a process of recovery. The curriculum is designed to address client needs with innovative techniques that bring out the best qualities of their clients. The culture is changing for the better to a more collaborative approach. They senior staff works to ensure their staff is taken care of and have the tools to do their jobs. I enjoy working at the facility and feel that I am making a difference.
Pros
Good salary, insurance, dental and health

Once upon a time, this was a nice, enjoyable place to work
FINANCIAL COUNSELOR (Current Employee) –  Orlando, FlNovember 17, 2017
Standards are set for my position, which are not well though out.
There is no standard operating procedure for a component of my position.
The expectations remain the same while the workload and additional responsibilities increase dramatically
The pay/salary/benefits are not commensurate with the position
It is a pleasure to make a difference in the lives of the clients served
Management is not on the same page overall
There are too many managers for the position
I learned a great deal about managing a treatment facility and the overall business functions
A day at work consists of non-stop demands from every angle from start to finish
Pros
Desired office space
Cons
Not enough storage space

Marketing (Current Employee) –  Winter Park, FLOctober 7, 2017
The marketing team is made up of a tight knit group of very smart marketers. Pay is at the high end of industry standard which makes up for the subpar benefits package. Management is knowledgeable and not afraid to roll up their sleeves to help us out. They seem to work long hours so the rest of us don’t have to. The office culture is lacking. Stereotypical cubicle village which reminds me of the movie office space but the catered lunches a few days per week are a big plus. Goals are aggressive but not impossible and coworkers are amazing.
Pros
Free lunch a few days a week. Good pay. Smart Coworkers.
Cons
Office culture. No 401k

Human Resources Representative (Former Employee) –  RemoteJuly 10, 2017
Growing company with growing pains. Not much for work/life balance, but over time should balance as the growth levels out. Compensation and benefits are competitive.
