New management arrived 1.5 years ago with leadership practices that is outdated. Since their arrival, over 70+ employees have quit, retired early, or been terminated. Company has to backfill manpower shortages with contractors that are also looped in with the company’s high turnover rates and are also quitting or terminated frequently.
High level management employed a leadership team and HR manager that believe accountability, discipline, and firing is the quickest & only path to establish results by managing with a hammer fist. HR manager can be quoted as comparing employees to clowns, and at times celebrating their terminations with upper management.
Production rates are at their worst, while the safety record is also at it’s worst.
Plant manager and his leadership team doesn’t understand and doesn’t care that low employee morale impacts everything.
