Praise the employees more often. And not constantly the same clique you constantly show favoritism too. Especially when others have sacrificed so much family time to help their unit because they genuinely care about their coworkers and hate to see them as well as the patients and their unit struggle. Busted my butt for 5 years -completely felt unappreciated. Ans it was my dream job.

Be certain that you are self sufficient and ready to read about CADD pumps, IV skills, mathematical thinking to figure out proper dosages of all drips including Milrinone, Dopamine, PCA's depending on pharmacokinetics, labs, proper weight, etc.

Maximum stress!!! Horrible management, impossible demands

As a Medical Assistant with over twenty years exp., it would be great to have flexible hours. Not all Medical Assistants want to or can work full-time hours. I understand that clinics are usually opened from 8-5, there are some of us who need time to take care of others outside of our jobs. Maybe have more part-time availability or clinics with extended hours so staff can stagger hours and there is not a need for overtime. There may be some doctors who will be willing to do this. Also believe they'll be less turnovers.
