I feel great walking in to the beautiful new building. By about 11am, I realize that our culture sucks and that it is miserable. Then i just get through until I can leave.
No solidarity between staff. Organization does what they want and staff is too afraid to speak up for themselves.
PTO schedule and forced vacation days is ridiculous and unheard of! No other company includes the forced holidays as a part of your PTO. Forget taking a real vacation unless you have been there for 5+ years. HR lies about this during the hiring process. Great medical plan, good dental.
Why I was interested in the position. Where do I see myself in 5 years. They also asked what questions I had for them. So don’t forget to jot down some questions for them as well! I asked what they liked most about working there.
What is Adventist Health sick leave policy? How many sick days do you get per year?
Only get 3 sick occurances a year but have PTO and extended sick leave if needed.
How long does it take to get hired from start to finish at Adventist Health? What are the steps along the way?
It took approximately 30 days from start to finish
What advice would you give the CEO of Adventist Health about how to improve it?
HR needs an overhaul. PTO structure needs an overhaul. Pay scale needs and overhaul.
