staff was good to work with
Charge Nurse (Former Employee) –  Takoma Park, MDMay 15, 2017
The staff was great to work with. Management did not value nurses and treated them with indifference. At a meeting with the hospital mgmt., nurses and doctors from my particular unit the nurses expressed concern about changes in policy/caseload. The doctors spoke out in support. Management said "if you don't like it here you can leave"

Staff Nurse / often charge (Former Employee) –  Rockville, MDFebruary 4, 2017
Very congenial staff who were always willing to help when needed.
Attractive environment and well-organized work areas.

The hardest part was the 12 hr; shifts that seemed endless.

The most enjoyable part was the rapport between nurses, techs, physicians, and usually wonderful patients

Empolyees are treated as numbers
RN Charge Nurse (Current Employee) –  Rockville, MDMay 25, 2016
The management here is so disconnected from the realities of life on the unit. The focus is on patient satisfaction versus employee satisfaction. Employees are continuously asked to do more and be more without the proper support to make that happen.

Charge Nurse (Current Employee) –  MarylandMarch 26, 2016
I am so priviledge to work in this faith-based organization. I have acquired lots of opportunities to widen my verizon of knowledge and skills. I believe in the organization's mission, vision, culture and values that is directed to providing exemplary care and demontrating God's love to patients and family.
