Very interesting place to work, I was in the ER so got to see a lot of different things, but not for someone with a weak stomach. Good and friendly management and staff.
Pros
See a lot of different things, benefits, time and a half for weekends/nights

Can be chaotic or hectic

Great caring environment
Patient Access Supervisor (Former Employee) –  Rockville, MDApril 11, 2017
This hospital has come a long way in the last several years! I was surprised to find after I moved to the area and started working there that it used to be known in the community as a bad place to take a patient. Its reputation is now quite the opposite! They have great people and a culture of caring that permeates the entire staff. I challenge you to walk down a hallway there and not be greeted by nearly every hospital employee who passes you. Won't happen. And they apply this attitude to all of their patients and families, from the time they arrive to check in to the time they are going home.

The emergency room was a faced paced, high stress environment so teamwork was important. We had to communicate well and ask for help when we needed it.
Pros
Being part of a team
