Management is lacking structure, vision, strategy and competitiveness. No emphasis on attainable/specific goal or target. Appears desperate, constantly trying to match competitors. Ego. Too small for politics. Stagnant growth in business.Mediocre talent in management. Does not support internal growth of talent.

Sr. Marketing Program Manager (Former Employee) –  Sunnyvale, CAMarch 7, 2017
Company is doing well in a very tough market. Business is growing as is the company, it is clear that there is and will be a turnover of people. The ones who joined when the company was 50 people may not feel the same way now that there are 100's of people. In addition the skillset of people needs as the company and business is growing needs to shift, which is not an easy transition for everyone. The hardware busines…
Pros

Systems Engineer (Current Employee) –  Chicago, ILDecember 16, 2016
Aerohive has a developing culture that is getting better.

The Systems Engineering team is great and the overall product is pretty good. Co-workers are amazing the systems engineering is great. I am not a huge fan of their Product Marketing team or Engineering team. The cloud management software has some issues and the feature set is limited. The problem with managing everything in the cloud is that if the cloud goes down you can manage the equipment. And the cloud does go down and thats a big problem. If the cloud goes down it can cripple the wireless network and for that reason I don't feel the solution is entirely capable and robust.

For this reason it can complicate the sales process.
Pros
Good pay and benefits.
Cons
Software and Engineering problems
