Management just mainly cares about the job, not the people who work it. Quotas seem impossible to meet at times. Benefits and pay are good though and the job isn’t hard.

The pay is great for the work that we do I Love it and they also work with you in times of emergencies because they totally understand how life can get they also do great when when you’re training they have great trainers, just a great management overall ! Highly recommended
Sales Chat Representative in Tucson, AZ

I just really don't think that Afni (partnered with Verizon) has a proper setup for work-from-home to be a successful operation, which of course they couldn't have predicted, but it's honestly insane how dysfunctional the sales chat project has became in the last two years. It's rare that you will read Indeed job reviews and the majority of the complaints are about system issues, and not management... depending on who your coach is, you may actually have great management (I really like my coach). But, that can't fix the fact that almost every day you're going to have a majority of potential sales that you aren't able to complete due to system issues. Dealing with brutal customers is one thing, and something you'll have to do at any call center job, but the partnership between Verizon and Afni is really the problem here. On top of this, due to the pandemic, chip shortages, etc, sales have dropped off so dramatically during what would normally be a really busy time of the year, that for the agents who rely on getting a good bonus, it has also became financially not a feasible job option. The saving grace for the job being tolerable was the bonus but they have been INCREASING the sales metrics you have to hit, not decreasing, during a time where we're struggling to get sales more than ever. It's really a slap in the face to those of us who are top agents and would stick around strictly for the bonus.

Management would often make remarks like “you all wouldn’t be here if you were smarter,” honestly toxic capitalism at its finest. It’s like the pay is dud too for what we have to do, it’s high for Arizona but still unlivable.
