Everyone was super nice and it felt like a family
Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) –  Tucson, AZMarch 22, 2019
For the first three months you were in a class environment which was really great because it helped to build relationships in the working environment. A job can go by much faster when you have people around you that you like. After that the class began to get smaller and smaller before you know it. We were on the call floor and there was about 9 people left, we started with a class of 24. So the class environment was great, the call floor was a bit stressful. As time progressed and we were moving closer to the production stage I still felt as though it was my first day of taking calls. Don't get me wrong I learned a lot in the classroom environment, but a lot of what you learn is actually on the calls themselves. So I wish we had a much longer time of taking calls.

Typical Call Center enviroment
ASSISTANT OPERATIONS MANAGER (Former Employee) –  Peoria, ILMarch 20, 2019
AFNI is a typical call center environment that support mostly automated outbound services for major companies throughout the United States. They do have a strong foot print in the united states with some out of country support.

its an ok place to wot
Customer Service iii (Current Employee) –  Bloomington, ILMarch 18, 2019
I really liked this job. My only problem is that they can be very unorganized. There is a lot blatant favoritism. Forever changing policies is not a bad thing but the implementation is always very unorganized.

At this job it was very competitive. Basically in contract with a cellular company and you would have to provide information to patrons about the products being inquired and being purchased
Pros

Just another trash call center
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Tucson, AZMarch 18, 2019
There are only a few good call centers in Tucson, this ain't one of them. Low pay, unqualified managers and trainers. If you just need a job badly, then take it while you look for a better job.
Pros
Air conditioning

The worst call center ever work for in my life
Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) –  Tucson, AZMarch 10, 2019
I never work for a company that is so unprofessional so dirty becomes their working environment the coaches are unprofessional they flirt with each other men and women on the on the call Floor management does not care chairs that you sit on 8 hours as a horrible for your back and they got you doing self along with customer service even though you were hired to just to do customer service the customer service rating is horrible because of how the Reps in the the refs in actual store lie about how much you really prices for the phone calls and then the customers call back upset because they find out that it's something different when they look at the next month's bill so get ready for that call and a new survey system that they have if you don't get a 9 or 10 you failed to call they don't care about your family issues outside of work if you don't have the sick time or the PTO time you're pretty much fired
Pros
Flexible schedule
Cons
Not enough page what they pay you for

high turn around. did not hold true to valuing employees
Customer Service Rep (Former Employee) –  Tucson, AZMarch 4, 2019
the work was not hard to learn, training was decent management changed like the wind. so if you had a poor manager and got a new one you had to start over explaining your issues or what you wanted to learn. only those who pushed sales got a bonus. there was nothing setup for those who had great surveys no incentives for non sales personal. it was a clicky type job that felt like high school. they stressed a professional dress code. yet played favorites and allowed some females to dress inappropriate showing bottoms and cleavage.
Pros
it was a job that offered 40 hrs with overtime on occasion.
Cons
if you spoke up you were ostracized and things were made more difficult for you

Dont do it...No matter what they say
CRS (Former Employee) –  Opelika, ALMarch 3, 2019
Don’t dare leave a good job ....or even a decent job to work here.

Hey will lie cheat and steal. They pay 12.50 an hour to try and pull you in. It wouldn’t be worth 20$ an hour. Very racial biased. Training is poor.
The managers are lazy and blame everyone else for their own issue. They don’t even show up to work on time.
The place looks empty when you first walk in, because it is. We asked “where is everyone?” Then the lie and say, it’s empty because of the day or time, but it’s not. It’s because most people quite after training.

This is A HARD PASS.

HUGE TURNOVER, that’s why they are constantly hiring.
Pros
Pay
Cons
Hours, poor management, poor training. It’s a scam.

Stay away from this company, very poorly ran & nothing but lies from management . Revolving door that leads you to emptiness. Was actually let go, because I filed a complaint with HR.

Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Tucson, AZMarch 1, 2019
Supervisors have no accountability for anything they do or how they behave. If you try to bring it to the attention of the OMs or hr nothing is done about it.

Afni is not the best job for a parent
CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE / AFNI (Former Employee) –  Tucson, AZFebruary 21, 2019
This job really does not work with single parents and schedule issues. Their lack of consideration and care for their employees leaves everyone in the company feeling hostile because they're all talk, but when it comes down to it...they don't care about you.

money
